Dear LIC Pensioners Friends
Hope all of you have read Delhi High Court orders for outcome of hearing dated 8th December 2016 uploaded on website last week only. It says Petitioners wish to approach Supreme Court for extending time limit beyond 31st January 2017.
Whereas the fact of matter is none of six Petitioners made any such requests but Justice Sanjeev Khanna might be annoyed over the fact that he wanted all counsels to argue their case but they were not found ready and wished further adjournment or more time for preparing themselves.
Friends , it is a danger sign.
It is not time for leg pulling of any player involved in this legal battle.
Rather it is high time that all counsels must put best possible efforts on next hearing 4th January 2017 to convince Justice Sanjeev Khanna that all of them are not for extension of time limit at all and are ready to travel extra mile to cooperate for completion of hearing before 31st January 2017.
And all honorable members are humbly requested to talk to the people who matter in giving instructions to engaged counsels in our cases.
If we miss it this time the consequences of the same will prove very fatal for the whole LIC Pensioners Community.
Any attempt at Supreme Court for time extension means weakening of our case and additional costs on poor LIC Pensioners Organizations already cash starved due to very lengthy legal battle first at Supreme Court followed by at Delhi High Court..
Hope my humble request to all those who matter in finalising further strategy in our legal battle will be taken in right spirits only
Regards
B.R Mehta
