No,this Mly mediclaim premium deduction faculty came ONLY as per LIC CO Circular from last year itself
As already few months were over then,ZO/DOs nicely adjusted with higher Amt deductions, duly informing pensioners,&  ensuring Final for last year to be over with Mly pension Jan 2017

From Feb 2017,Yly premium was divided by 12 for uniform Mly SZ did it this month with 1st Mly for 2017-18
No doubt, after New policy is announced, they will make adjustment, inform Pensioners Final picture

SO,don't keep quiet, get info from Bhubaneswar DO as also Cuttack or any DO,file ur letter with Pension Disbursing office
Pl know We AIRIEF fought for 3 years, then got it
We shd not revert to old Yly lump sum practice,as many forgot to pay before 31March,lost the risk cover for ever
GOOD LUCK,

Dear Sir,
We wish to clarify that  the facility of deduction of mediclaim premium in monthly instalments from pension,  from this year (2017-18)  is extended to those pensioners  who paid  FULL premium last year/those who retired during the year are also,   provided they give mandate to deduct the same from the pension starting from  the month of Feb 2017.

If any division has denied this facility, kindly let us have details to enable us to reslove the issue.

With regards,

AO(OS)

Dear Sri Masil JeyaMohan,

Thank u for jur quick response,
Now for other pending issues, please reply

I)Dear Smt Revathy,

1) A query is raised as a grievance that those who paid FULL mediclaim premium last year, before COCircular came, are being DENIED the facility of deduction of mediclaim premium this year.

This does not look to be correct, & it is wrong to deprive such pensioners, who, out of good faith now approach the Office concerned to offer this facility. This is purely administrative & so ought not to be refused

This is not like ONE MORE OPTION for entry to FFPolicy mediclaim scheme

2)Further,those who enter ,after retirement as Pensioner, also should continue to get this facility. As Employees, they would have exercised the facility & now, as Pensioners, right royal, they should continue to enjoy the same & authorise Pension Disbursing office

PLEASE confirm this position to enable us to reply to such pensioners & resolve their problem

greetings & warm regards,

RBKishore
