Report of Panchkula Unit AGM held today

To All Honourable Members Panchkula Unit

Dear Friends ,

Annual AGM of LIC Class One Retired Officers Association  Panchkula (registration no 604/2015)   held today  11th June 2017 11 am at  Senior Citizens Council sector 15 Panchkula was  attended by 27  members out of total  52 .The Annual AGM held today  was a highly successful event.

Our President Sh H L Kharbanda welcomed all members present in the meeting

Our Secretary Sh S N Chhabra placed his report of activities for the last two years 2015 -16 and 2016-17.

After brief discussion , Secretary' report which was  circulated in the 

meeting was adopted by house.

Next  , house also approved accounts of our Association for two years 2015-16 and 2016-17 copies circulated to all members were also approved by the house unanimously.

Next item on agenda being enhancement of annual subscription from presently Rs five hundred per member to Rs six hundred per annum  pee member was also approved unanimously by the house.

Next, Sh R C Sodhi our patron was requested by the house to take over as Presiding officer to elect new Executive Committee for two years term.

Sh R  C  Sodhi  our Patron declared elected following new Executive Committee for 2017 -19 unanimously after completing the whole elections process.

The house placed on record deep appreciations for Sh H L Kharbanda for his valuable services rendered  as our  President for three terms of two years each.

Similarly services rendered by Sh K L Malhotra as our Auditor for three terms were also acknowledged with Thanks by entire house.

The house also congratulated Sh H D Sharma upon taking over as new President today.

Sh  G  S Singla our honourable member invited all honourable members for next bimonthly meeting to be held on  2nd Sunday 13th  August 2017 over lunch in his office at Dhakoli at old Ambala Road  (Zirakpur ).

The house was assured to take a few issues relating to Medi Claim with Sr DM Chandigarh at the earliest.

It was also decided that Secretary will start issuing circulars for minutes of each meeting for the benefit of  those members who are not in a position to attend our bimonthly meetings due to their valid reasons.

The meeting came to close  at 1.00 pm today with a vote of Thanks by our  outgoing President Sh H L Kharbanda
