Sad news,
Shocking news,Unexpected news,Untimely death, Most inappropriate time.
A Veteran of
Pensioners Fraternity passes away this evening.It is indeed a bolt from the
blue
Men may come
& men may go,but MSM breed & brand was different.Views may differ,
Opinions on
issues may be different, but reason & logic were his crowning glory.
Never can we
come across such a veritable, human dynamo.His velocity and acceleration
for a cause
which he has embraced with rightness & brazen confidence &
courage,right from
beginning to
end, with same speed, with same gusto is to be seen to be believed. What a
discipline
he has instilled in himself,what a systematic, methodical work he has been
arduously
pursuing &
following with regularity is a virtue of
a high watermark,absent in many.His avowed
self-imposed
habits & qualities,of hopes, of optimism,of pragmatism,to look beyond &
come what may
,to pursue with diligence,dedication is superlative.His capacity to convey, to
communicate
so swiftly, so promptly were his endearing qualities of head & heart.He
never
looked back, he never faltered.
Even when we pensioners were
battling with ups & downs,when sometimes most
unexpected
twists & turns came,why, when even a hurricane unfurled with a stinging
bite in so-
called 27April 2017 DHC half-baked,negative verdict ,full of
errors of omission & commission &
ever so many
infirmities, a Black Day for pensioners, after initial setback & stupor,he
came back
to his
normal ways ,as a Fighter for a good cause,which pensioners so richly deserve
,but Wheel
of Time snatches
away at the most critical turning point,from heaven to hell to paradise
regained, Pensioners
with tremendous patience,wanted to look to that DDay ,when most
miseries of the
Retiree community will be over
When
Sri MPSubramanian phoned from Madurai,to convey this shocking news,we were
rudely
awakened,for only yesterday & day before,after watching the developments on
MSM
health,slight
indisposition, to hospital, Delhi trip deferred, Mrs Seetha Kishore & I
prayed then
all should
go on well in SC ,nothing bad should happen. None would ever have believed that
this end would
occur .Almighty dealt a tragic blow & threw us apart.Humans are gregarious,man
is a social animal,Aristotle said. Irrespective of any affiliations, it is the
man in him which
counts & nothing else.Rest is secondary.Let nobility prevail,let human
& humane virtues
dominate,let us wish every pensioner well.Lets us imbibe the qualities of
doggedness, of perseverance,of
solutions he personified and carry on
the mantle.when in a few months, end of the
tunnel will be in sight,this is a tragedy of astronomical proportions.
I had a long talk with Sri CHMahadevan. After
long time,I could get him on his 2nd
Mobile,He
gave all details of past MSM health history,MSM waking after every down with a
smile &
courage, the unimaginable work & burden of responsibility he has
shouldered,of course,
in his good
company .Right from 1997 & earlier,MSM had heart operation,recovered,
merrily
went along
with every assignment with aplomb & distinction, he added.CHM voice was
choked,spending
all time in Hospital at a crucial time.3 daughters & 1 son, out of which 2
daughters
are in Hyderabad, one son & one daughter in USA.This is an irreparable loss
of
Himalayan
magnitude
We
convey our heartfelt condolences to his family May the Almighty shower courage
&
strength to
the bereaved family to bear this loss with fortitude.
