Dear Friend,
In 1976, Sanjay Gandhi wanted SBI chairman, RK Talwar, to do a favour for a cement company--whose promoter was close to Sanjay Gandhi. RK Talwar was a very honest man. For a full version of the story, we have to read a book titled "RK Talwar: Values in Leadership," written by N Vaghul. This book can be downloaded in a PDF version at:
This 90-page book is made available by Knowledge Xchange for the benefit of general public. (I've provided the PDF attachment also).
RK Talwar was SBI's greatest chairman and a man of inspiration. Please share this greatest banker's story with your friends and colleagues.
with regards,
RamaKrishna Vadlamudi
