DHC had betrayed the pensioners who retired before 1.8.97 are all dead except a few living now more than Misra bench of SC ordering interim relief plus the direction of adding DR to basic pension. What is the use of upgradation even if present two member bench/hypothetical three or member bench on appeal. LIC will certainly appeal if this bench gives benefit to the betrayed by present living pensioners conditioned by their 85% strong TU and political mentors to perpetuate discrimination as prevails in the world as happened during six wage settlements in three decades.They had no sympathy to those died in penury, but talk about arrears going as unearned income to their kin. They have no idea of unearned income, Savings without spending invested in Real estate, Gold and shares of Corporates are reasons for all the ills of Capitalist societies of the whole world since the Industrial revolution happened.One hopes in the days of AI and Robot will have great leisure to pursue the innovation of one's taste and Universal basic income to all during his/her life time.
