Dear Sir, CERTIFICATE OF EXISTENCE(EC) LIC DIGITAL App becomes a NIGHTMARE,for all Pensioners

.1)Many pensioners wanted to try this time EC through New Simplified LIC Digital ,with bare minimum data & linked to Aadhaar card

2)There were some impediments.

Name ,Same pensioner but Short name or Full Name,showing Error/Discrepancy.This was experienced as between LIC Records & shown in Aaadhar Card  or

   even in Different LIC Policies ,Short name & Full Name etc

3)Right from 1st August 2023,tremendous contacts by many WhatsApp Pensioners groups functioning effectively to help & assist pensioners & quick Replies by LIC CO IT SD Help Team gave some consolation

   But sorry to say ,on & off,more errors,Selfie not coming properly,2nd part of Ensuring Receipt of done hard work by Pensioners to be received & confirmed by Respective PCells missing & for Annuities by ZO CRM/IPP Cell.

4)Last week,yet another LACUNA of Aaadhar card  Authority  NOT ABLE to link properly etc was beamed.

Very few of MANY who dutifully commenced NEW App with step by step Instructions,also sufferred,due to Either CO Muddle in programming or Aaadhar Authority pitfalls adversely affecting time,labour, energy,anxiety of Aged pensioners work becoming time-consuming WITHOUT CORRECT END RESULT of EC released & sent to Disbursing Authorirty

5)That was the compelling reason we,from AIRIEF/RIEA CHENNAI even when we submitted our Memorandum conveyed to worthy ZM to extend SAME VIDEO facilty to Pensioners here too to obviate BOTH SIDES non-fulfilment or completion of EC.Virtually we are coming to ,DEADLINE DATE for NO FAULT OF PENSIONERS

6) We had brought to the notice of all of you,how even CGovt Dept of Pension & Pensioners WELFARE had done yeoman service of personal contacts,.Areawise LIST of Pensioners for door to door help & assistance to complete EC Form & witness the same.

This is also resorted to in GRAVE cases of bedridden or LONE pensioners who are HELPLESS to comply for compelling reason of very old age,disability,illness etc

7)We bring to your attention HC Decisions recent times that Pension CANNOT be WITHHELD for reason of Non receipt of EC but Institution/Organisations must evolve procedures to Empathise & visit pensioners homes & secure EC

  We recall earlier Mr Dhar RM OS visited our Home with then AO Mr Dinesh Kumar & so too last year Madam Niranchana Rangarajan with perhaps Mrs Gayathri assisted many pensioners, through personal visits for EC purposes,

8)You can consider some Solution to alleviate sufferrings of older & oldest pensioners preparing AREAWISE LIST with prominent data needed to break this YLY BARRIER,for Pensioners Delight or Ecstacy,2/3 Officers can be deputed to visit Homes ,collect or check verification particulars & ATTEST happily to end the DILEMMA carrying on till August Monthend please. 3or 4 Distinct Areas in Chennai can be selected for EASY REACH by pensioners when Authorised Signitories can verify & attest ending Agony of pensioners.

9)ALSO,you can visualise some Meet like what we requested,FAMILY Pensioners Duties & responsibilities,doubts to be cleared & BROCHURE prepared in Advance in simple DOs &DONTs ,pointing out normal errors likely & how to have smooth sailing as LIC valued FP.

10)We sometimes request ZO,DO PCell to give us some data relevant for pensioners working & welfare,giving adequate time to them to have least or no disturbance,but essentially with sole aim only to promote happiness & for smooth conduct of our RIEA,RetdInsce Employees Assn Units .

11)LASTLY ,we sadly convey that NOT A WORD is mentioned by our LIC CHAIRPERSON for Independence Day Flag hoisting,when all along, everyChairman, MDs & Top Mgt glorified pensioners saluting them as FOUNDING FATHERS laying solid foundation & superstructure for the growth of LIC.

Classes of Employees,GS,Indore has already  strongly conveyed protest of Pensioners.Elders,Sr & SuperSr Citizens to ChairPerson in unmistakable terms.

12)Please help us to help you & Pensioners,Regular & Family pensioners with grace,humility & empathy in the larger interests of fulfilling our sacred obligations to them in the twilight of their lives.
