* My take on IBA circular for Health Policy for Retirees*
If we compare this year's premium rates with that of last year then..
*Award Staff* paid last year for policy of 3 + 4 = 7 lakhs *Rs.53,809/-*
Whereas this year for 2 + 5 = 7 lakhs *Rs.96,532/-*
*So this year Rise of Rs.42,723/- for the same amt of policy..!!*
*Officers* paid last year for policy of 4 + 5 = 9 lakhs *Rs.72,988/-*
Whereas this year for policy of 2 + 7 = 9 lakhs *Rs.1,07,138/-*
*So this year Rise of Rs.34,150/- for the same amt of policy..!!*
Further, in case of in-service employees policy *circular issued by Union Bank, word Super Topup is used. But in IBA circular for Retirees under reference, every where word Topup is used. This is also very crucial point to be clarified.*
Secondly *if combo is opted* then no capping will be applicable. But whether Room Rent capping will be applicable or not should also be clarified.
Our demand was for reduction in premium load on Retirees and in response to that IBA has not only detached Retirees from the in-service employees, but see what they have offered against our demand of reduction in premium..!!
*It appears that IBA has penalised Retirees for demanding reduction in premium amt..!!*
*In my opinion this is worst policy offered by IBA to the Retirees*
