As per my calculation
the amount of minimum family pension should be as given  below :
Retirement/Death
Pay.                  Minimum

Before 01.11.1993
Upto 1250/-               375

01.11.1993 to 31.07.1997
Upto 2400/-               720

01.08.1997 to 31.07.2002
Upto 3666/-              1100

01.08.2002 to 31.07.2007
Upto 4933/-             1480

01.08.2007 to 31.07.2012
Upto 6266/-              1880

From 01.08.2017
Upto 13566/-             4070

I have taken the minimum as given in first stage of Pay Scale.
Where the Basic Pay is more than the pay mentioned above, 30% of Pay will be more than the minimum stated above.
I seek your comments.

These are the minimum basic pension rates at 30% of last pay as per Appendix V.
Already it has been clarified by the CO  letter dated 21/9/2023 in the first illustration that the revised pension cannot be less than the minimum pension. A large number of retired employees in 30% bracket would  be in the lower cadres and their minimum family pension will remain the same as given by you. The Gazette Notification dt 11/9/2023 also states that the revised  family pension will not be less than the minimum pension.
It will be better if Central Office clarifies in a circular that even though Appendix V stands omitted by the Gazette Notification,  the minimum pension figures mentioned in the omitted Appendix V  hold good. The Pensioners' Associations need to take it up with LIC Management.

Subject to the above Appendix V stands deleted from 11/9/2023.
