Highly fruitful and productive meeting with FM

* Today there were two separate meetings by BMS - one for insurance sector unions and other for Banking sector unions 

* * Insurance sector meeting scheduled at 5.00 pm started at 5.20 and went on for an hour. Total 12 delegates from different insurance unions headed by S/Sh Surendran ji, Arya ji, and Biswas ji attended. 

* * NOIP was represented by the undersigned. 

* *The undersigned dealt with all the points contained in the letter to FM [enclosed herewith]

* * The undersigned thanked the FM for a satisfactory wage revision to existing employees as well as enhancement of family pension to 30%. She happily acknowledged our appreciation. 

* *Updation of Pension was dealt with in all the details saying that ED retired in 1992 is getting lesser pension than recently retired Driver. She checked up the authenticity with Secretary Finance present there, who nodded in affirmation. FM appeared to be empathetic in this regard.

* *One more pension option (OMOP) to the leftover Ex servicemen/ Engineers and resigned employees was discussed threadbare and we hope to get positive response in this regard. 

* *Other issues detailed in our point number 3 were also discussed in depth. 

* * Madam was highly receptive and she is a perfect listener. 

* * On NOIP's foundation day we deem it to be a red lettered day in the annals of NOIP.

* *  We sincerely felt that - हमारे भी अच्छे दिन आने वाले हैं।
