Unless Nidesh Gupta selected by late KMLA includes in 3 page note about the fact of LIC handed over GOI Rs 7 lakh crores as windfall profit as 96. 5 % share of LIC+ brand value acquired + dividends even after selling 3. 5% shares for 21000 crores and reimbursement by GOI if any short in pension fund as per actuarial report if any with LIC, no useful purpose will be served.
The Investment of Rs 5 crores on 1. 9. 56 by GOI with cumulative return @ 12 % being the average return for 69 years up to 31. 8. 25 will be only Rs. 15000 crores only.
We have repeatedly told GOI will appeal to more multi- member benches of SC if this one doesn' t oblige.
