The foundation for such service was done by nearly 25000 workers of 245 private insurers who were under the shadows of "Hire and Fire" policy with abominable low wages from 1.9.56 on inauguration of LIC with great expectation of prosperity to all with enthusiasm. It continued till now. During Dynastic rule these workers suffered stagnation in wages without promotions except few Chamchas and died in penury without pension like "Oriental Life/SBI" except the consolation of security of the job under ID Act. 1947 and few fringe benefits like DA and HRA to some extent. But the newly recruited workers of LIC were lucky enough to get pension and increase of 3% PA increase in real wages for the last 3 decades amounting double the real wages now by the gift of the policy of PVN RAO. They didn't do any agitation for pension even for those who were alive on 1.11.93. They now degenerated to the extent of not supporting pension upgradation as if it may result minuscule reduction of huge increase of wages in 6 wage settlements during last 3 decades.
